The spirit of hospitality is a "treasure of the Japanese people"(Treasure)'
Japanese hospitality is a culture we can be proud of around the world, and I believe that ryokans, which encapsulate and embody that culture, are an important treasure for Japan, which aims to become a tourism-oriented nation. For this reason, I actively share the wonderfulness of not only my own company but also Awara Onsen and Fukui Prefecture's environment, culture, industry, shops, and people on social media, incorporating this into my own actions and working on daily management and operation so that information can be delivered both domestically and internationally. My belief is that Japanese ryokan culture should be passed down, promoted, and made into a global brand. Creating as many attractive tourist resources as possible to demonstrate Japan's power through tourism is the type of business I aim for.
history
After graduating from university in 2010, he joined a travel agency. As a salesperson, he was involved in proposing tourism products and developing the local community. Since 2013, he has worked at Grandia Housen, a long-established inn in Awara Onsen, Fukui Prefecture, his family's home. After serving as sales manager, he was appointed managing director in 2016. He currently oversees the overall management of this large inn with 115 rooms and works on building the company's internal organization. As the young owner, he actively shares information on social media in order to deliver value not found in traditional inns. He runs the YouTube channel "Young Master's Unofficial Fukui Tourism Ambassador" and Instagram accounts, and is widely promoting the charms of the region and the inn. Next year will mark the 60th anniversary of the company's founding.
