I participated in the [Awara Kitakata Iris Festival]

Lake Kitagata is about XNUMX minutes by car from our hotel.
It is held every year at the lakeside park.
About XNUMX Japanese irises colored the lakeside vividly and elegantly.
Next to the flower bed, I was the main character, and the hydrangeas in full bloom also had a strong presence.

As you can see, each row has a tag that looks like the name of a flower.
(Aoi no Ue, Satsukibare, children's makeup, Ruri fan, evening firefly...)
Was this named by the local government where it was planted?I thought, but it seems that it is the name of a splendid variety established by the Hanashobu Association.
